Fountains of Lace

dress: F21; slip: Free People; shoes: H by Halston

I've been wanting a lace dress for quite some time now and I stumbled across this one at F21. It came with a black slip and ribbon belt with a flower pin. I'm not a big fan of huge flowers so the belt had to go. And isn't the purple lace slip underneath so much better than a plain black one? Even though it was lace over lace, my unmentionables were never mentioned. I put this together for a friends birthday dinner at Gulfstream Park. Casino, horse racing, restaurants and shops. All day fun. Must get back to check out the shopping.

Stealing from his closet

shirt: liberated from bf's closet; shorts: old pair of DIY levis; belt: h&m;
necklace: lucky brand; boots: JC

We're finally in out new place. This is our back "yard". Or a wooden deck, you choose. Our new place has a ton more space than the old one and is still close to highways. I love it here. Too bad I'm never here. Between school and work, all I do is sleep here. And even then it's not that much. And then there are the few times I get to hang out with the girls. This is the outfit I threw together for Champagne Sunday brunch. Babe was getting rid of this shirt, I saved it realize that it probably looks better on me. Hopefully I can get back into a outfit posting schedule.

H&M and Elin Kling

photos courtesy of elinkling.net

H&M has teamed up with fashion blogger Elin Kling to create this collection. I love everything about it. The white pants suit practically has me drooling. I've been craving one forever. And please don't get me started on the dresses. I rarely meet a maxi dress I don't like, and this one is pure perfection. There is one thing that I'm not too happy about with this collection. It's only going to be release in Sweden! And I don't know anyone there that I can ask to make a quick shopping trip for me. Alas, this collection will pass me by. I'm gonna go cry in the corner now.

Rockabilly

I've been crazy busy these past few weeks. Babe and I finally moved into our new place, my new semester started which includes classes and clinicals, and my job had it's 5th anniversary party. The party was rockabilly themed, and my girls and I went all out. Can I tell you how hard it is to get dreadlocks into pin curls? You're a goddess Michelle! These are just a few pics taken from that night that I felt the need to share with the world.
